Have I said before I´m a
gardener?
I can smell roses one by one,
although we don´t have many of them, but I´ve never got hurt. Elmo did once, he
went too close to a moody cactus.
I can count oranges, that are
like flowers to me because they grow by the roses.
I can feel the red leaves of a
spreading plant called tradescantia. Ours is reddish, or purple, or both. I´m
not sure because all colours are funny to me.
I can wait three days to see
one of the tiny violets opens by the window, and I never eat it, I never break
it. I kiss it every day.
I can look at the lilliums in
the kitchen calmly, as if time were just another petal.
I´d like to have petunias one
day. Maybe my she-human finds them before it gets too cold.
He had an hibiscus like the
ones my humans saw in India but smaller. It came down with an illness and it
died., also the pachira. And it was sad because Elmo loved them so much, so
tall and majestic. There are some plants inside
the tank too. These naughty fish don´t eat them any longer, but I can´t touch
them, and I dislike the smell of the filter when my humans clean it.
This is me. I´ve woken up
talkative today.
Ready for my second breakfast.
Have a nice garden-like day
everyone, feel love and find nice words to share. Don´t keep what´s nice
because we´re all in the need for affection.
