If we don´t sleep, do we have dreams?
I need a break.

Max
Monday Monday,
back to work. Don´t you think I´m not busy because I´m a cat. I must tidy the cushions my way, I must explore underneath the sofa, there are some new tiny balls of fodder worth a taste although I´m not very hungry. My she-human is back home. She looks tired and her voice sounds weak. But I believe we´re doing better. It´s my duty to walk by her every single step she makes from one room to the other, cat´s pace, you know.
Elmo used to watch the washing machine at work, I find it boring without him. I still have the fish in the tank. But nothing is so funny if I must go for it alone.
I heard my she-human complaining about the fact some people go on saying "it was only a cat". As if a cat were only a cat, as if a friend were only a friend, as if a life were only a life.
Determination.
Monday Monday,
back to routine. If we don´t have any, we´ll make it new.
Because a friend is more than a friend, and Elmo is every flower in the balcony and every little shiny star we can see at night.

Max.

ps: I have the feeling some humans are set to suffer more than others, I know they love more as well

we have just been presented with new flowers...
for everyone who´s sad tonight
and for everyone who keeps waiting for something

Our precious Elmo,
one week without you.
We feel very sad and low.
Our humans have no words for each other.
Our she-human has been sleeping the whole afternoon,
but I think she just wanted to flee from pain.
Wherever you are,
may you have flowers around,
because you love them and they love you.

Max

Alors, c´est moi aussi, le Philosophe (click )

So that my she-human and I cannot happen to sleep once again. At least it´s not workday and she´s not rushy. I feel a bit better, not her though, since I know big people need to put words to feelings and when these are grey words are darker. I´m such a philosophical cat, like all cats acually, I´d say she finds herself to be guilty of Elmo´s Sunday. Some people love us so much, they get so sick when going to the Town Hall Kennels, they remain sick days after. I read her thoughts,  I can also see Elmo in that place before leaving us when my she-human looks at me into the eyes.
My friend would have loved the stories of My Little Animals.
I miss you, Elmo, I also try to put meows to my pain.
